The first thing you need to consider before beginning the application process, are our requirements for eligibility to hire one of our cars. There’s not much point browsing through the wonderful vehicles in our fleet and setting your heart on a particular car, only to find you won’t be able to hire it! Our requirements are as follows:

The primary driver renting any of our cars here at Top Speed Exotics must be over the age of 25. Whilst we are able to add extra drivers onto the contract, this is only when a driver over the age of 25 is able to take full responsibility for the hire vehicle. We do not allow drivers under the age of 21 to drive our rental cars.

Foreign drivers must ensure they arrange insurance documents when renting our vehicles for more than two days. Top Speed Exotics are able to provide this service to our customers from overseas. For those visiting from abroad that do not have insurance documents, the security deposit for our exotic car rental Miami will be higher.

Parties renting our cars must be able to commit to paying the additional fee for every additional driver, and understand that this fee will be higher for 21-24 year old drivers. Drivers must be able to provide a driver’s licence and ID ahead of renting the vehicle, and all those wishing to be able to drive the rented vehicle must be present at the time of vehicle delivery or pick up.

All dates of receipt/return for our exotic cars must be agreed in advance, so it is necessary that all drivers wishing to rent from us are able to secure particular dates for the end of their rental terms.

We also do not allow drivers to rent out luxury vehicles in the following situations:

If illegal activities are going to be carried out with our vehicles.

To transport other people in order to make money or profit in any way, or if unlicensed drivers are using the rental for driving lessons.

For speeding tests or other situations where the car will need to go above the normal speed limits, such as in demonstrations, high-speed competitions or endurance races.

For the towing or moving of heavy objects that could cause damage to our cars.

For driving on unpaved surfaces, as this could put our customers in danger and damage our fleet.

Once you have ensured that you meet our requirements for luxury car rental hire, you must then consider the next steps in our process. Before the car is delivered, you must pay a rental deposit which will be between $1,000 and $5,000 depending on your insurance and the model you wish to hire. All renters must also understand that any damage to the car will be fully their responsibility, and we advise choosing a good insurance policy before taking any of our cars out for a spin.

Once you’ve organised which car you are going to rent, you will need to arrange payment. At Top Speed Exotics we accept all forms of payment with the exception of personal and business checks. We will not charge your account until you have received the car, but do not allow for refunds of car rentals or gift certificates. There will also be a minimum $500 or 50% of overall rental charge for cancellation.

All cars must also be refuelled with high-quality gas once the tank runs out, or if returned with an empty tank there will be a fee of $9 per gallon for refuelling.
